Becoming Successful
Excerpt from Barry's Ohio Gallery of Success acceptance speech
A very successful businessman was once asked to what he owed his success.
"Good decisions," he replied.
When asked how he was able to make these good decisions, he responded, "My experience."
Finally, when asked how he gained his experience, he replied, "From bad decisions."

I've been the Chairman of our family business, Kichler Lighting, since 1997. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, I began working at Kichler during summer school breaks from age 13 through Beachwood High School and college. Upon completing my Marketing degree at Ohio State Univerity, I joined the company full time.
"During my tenure with the company, I have been fortunate to direct and facilitate Kichler's growth from a small company into the world's largest manufacturer of decorative lighting and winning several awards in the process."
